Mountainous terrain, diverse trails, great views.
Rangeley offers year-round biking on a diverse mix of single- and double-track, gravel and paved roads, logging roads, and groomed snow trails.
Where to go
Mountain bikers love Rangeley’s 70 miles of multi-purpose trails. Maps are available at the Rangeley Chamber of Commerce. These trails are also used by ATVs, but the vastness of the network means many trails are lightly used. If you avoid the park-and-ride areas and peak weekends, you’ll be rewarded with miles of premier trails all to yourself.
The Rangeley Lakes Trails Center welcomes mountain bikers on its 55 km of scenic trails at the foot of Saddleback Mountain. Even in winter, its groomed trails are a popular destination for fat bike riders.
Is there a bike shop in Rangeley?
