You CAN vacation this summer.
Just pick the right place.
Rangeley is an ideal place to put some distance between yourself and the rest of the world. Let’s be honest, we’ve been social distancing since 1855.
Social distancing is easy at 4,000 ft.
For over 100 years, East Coast urbanites have come to Rangeley to immerse themselves in nature. It’s where you can enjoy the solitude of fly fishing on a quiet stream, hiking a 4,000-ft mountain, or paddling across an empty lake.
This year, you may not be able to visit an amusement park or boardwalk, but you can safely enjoy the vast expanse of Rangeley’s mountains, forests, lakes, and streams.
We value safety.
While you’re here, we ask that you help protect the health of residents and workers by wearing a mask in public places, practicing social distancing, and following all signs and requests from business employees. We are trying to protect your health, our health, and the health of the future visitors.
Rangeley was one of the first places in Maine to develop a local safety pledge. Over 50 businesses have taken the Rangeley Rises Safety Pledge, promising to follow CDC and State guidelines, and prioritize the health and safety of their patrons, employees, and community. When you come, you’ll see the Rangeley Rises signs, safety posters, and decals all over town.
